In Miami Beach, Florida, there is a neighborhood called Art Deco. This district is famous worldwide for the excellent hotels and businesses in the surrounding area, and we will make a visit to the most important and recognized places of the same. The district is characterized by concentrating the largest number of architectural works of the period ranging between 1920 and 1930 throughout the world.
The buildings are examples of a period in which Miami Beach was heavily promoted at the international level, and sought to invite the tourism and the image of a tropical garden in the middle of the city. The different buildings found throughout the district to explore all kinds of styles, as the Vernacular (common in early buildings in South Florida), the Bungalow, Mediterranean and Art Deco, among others.
At this historic district on the south beach of Miami, we enjoy several trips where guides will be showing the most important buildings, but if you prefer to do on our own there will be no waste, because the district is very large and many of buildings are notable for their age and design.
Declared a historic site by the government of the United States, the Art Deco District is one of the most stunning walks of the South Florida coast. The old buildings give a unique feel to the boulevards and pedestrian walkways in the area, we can not really lose if we are in Miami, a single visit.
