That was declared world heritage by UNESCO in 1992. It is the place dreamed for a memorable holiday, so if you don’t yet have destination this summer, you are in time to organize a trip to this remote corner of the world.

A natural paradise

Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island, with its 1,840 square kilometers. Beautiful, paradise and famous for its wonderful beaches (some of them have been listed as the best beaches in the world by National Geographic), and by the large number of lakes that has nothing less than a hundred, of which Lake McKenzie is the most visited by tourists who come up there.

A unique ecosystem
