Budapest is one of those cities so beautiful that at some point in life we know, especially as attractive features as important as the coast of the Danube River, its palaces, its baths and its incredible wealth considered by UNESCO as a World Heritage Humanity.
Apart from making sightseeing in the city public transport, we also know Budapest otherwise, and that is on bicycles in an interesting tour. In the Budapest Tourist Office offers two bike tours, which can be done in two hours a day from September to May, and two hours per day in peak season from June to August.
The bike routes in Budapest start and end at the spectacular Szoda Cafe. The program includes a very nice tour, which begins with a talk on the history of Budapest and sites to visit in the meeting point. From there, the route will take us the St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Parliament, the Chain Bridge and the Castle District.
After the first stage, we organized a break in the Hunyadi Square, where we will continue with the second stage of the tour of Budapest. The first site is the Heroes’ Square and City Park, which organizers say will taste the mineral water spa called Szechenyi. Then we follow the Opera and the street Andrassy ends at the point of departure, coffee Szoda. The tour could be done, on a bus, but a bicycle is an excellent alternative to meet the most beautiful Budapest.
