Attractions in Prague

Prague is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in the world, besides being included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage since 1992, is one of the European Capitals of Culture, these merits they have been earned through their historical and monumental heritage and its beauty.

The Vltava River divides the city into two parts, in its 30 kilometer route along the city is crossed by 18 bridges and make several islands, which enhances the beauty of each of the four neighborhoods that make up the city since the eighteenth century. On one side of the river stands the castle area of Prague’s Lesser Town, on the other side are the Old Town and New Town. Each of these parts of the city is endowed with charm and artistic wealth, which make it worthy of several days’ stay.

On the outskirts of the city will find precious and ancient castles and villages full of charm. Among the closest cities is Kutna Hora, the capital district of Central Bohemia, one of its architectural gems is the cathedral of Santa Barbara, founded around 1350, and belongs to the most valuable works of the late Gothic style and the end of the Czech Republic.

One of the best advice is to cross it to visit Prague public transport, riding a car is expensive and is somewhat difficult to find parking in the center. If you move into public transport you will notice that it is very comfortable, safe and relatively quick.

Please note that hotels are not usually cheap, thanks to that Prague is one of the most important tourist destinations in Central Europe, these are always full, so plan your trip ahead of time and devote special attention to the housing.

The Czechoslovak cuisine is generally quite strong, very tasty but high in protein, abundant meat and meatballs, so if you are vegetarian or you’re not used to this type of menu I recommend that before the trip a couple of restaurants locate naturists.

Visit the “Heart of Europe” and discover its art and history is always an extraordinary experience also discover that this is closely linked to central Europe, Prague has always been for the city of cities, the nerve center of the continent.
