The Aloha state is an incredible destination that should be on your bucket list, if isn’t, you need to revise. Hawaii is a magical group of tropical islands that are beautiful all year round with average temperatures ranging between 70 and 80° Fahrenheit. Before you head to the airport for heavily discounted Hawaii flights, you need to decide where you are going to go. Every island offers something different for everyone.
Maui
The second largest island in the group is home to beautiful beaches, stunning tropical rainforest adventures and activities that everyone will enjoy. Lahaina is a historical town that is becoming one of the islands hot spots. Take a stroll down Front Street and have a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants, and do not forget to book your tickets for an authentic Luau. The Maui Ocean Center is one of the top destinations in Maui. The kids will love interacting with the sharks and Mata Rays that swim overhead.
Kauai
Book a beach front villa on the island of Kauai and you will begin to understand why this tropical paradise is one of the most popular islands in the group. Book Hawaii flights, as there are 53 miles of beautiful sandy beaches where you can kick back and relax. Put the kids in Surf Camp for a day, and go golfing. Rent a kayak and paddle down the Wailua River where you will be in awe of the beauty and splendor. Take a mountain tubing adventure, or go zip lining.
Oahu
A trip to the Hawaiian Islands is not complete without spending a few days on the island of Oahu. After you check in to your hotel, it is time to go and explore Honolulu, which is home to the most famous beach in the world, Waikiki. Spend some time on the sand and take pictures of Diamond Head. Of course, you must spend a day at Pearl Harbor. See where the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, and pay homage to the USS Missouri. The Arizona Memorial is a sobering reminder of the beginning of WWII.
Hawaii
The big island must not be missed. Made up of 5 volcano’s, there is an abundance of activities for everyone to enjoy. Take a tour of the active volcanoes, or go whale watching. If you are into water sports, you can go parasailing, snorkeling or scuba diving, and make sure that you take a ride on an authentic Hawaiian outrigger canoe. Rent a fishing charter and try catching that elusive marlin that you have been dreaming about.
Lana’i
Called Hawaii’s most enticing island, Lana’i is perfect for a romantic getaway. You can rent an intimate beach bungalow and spend your days sipping cocktails while you relax on your own private beach. If you are staying on the island of Maui, take the ferry to Lana’i, or book Hawaii flights from one of the other islands. You can play a round of golf, or treat yourself to a relaxing massage at the spa.
